courtesy of Per Samuelsson - hazy ruby-brown colour with a big creamy beige head leaving a nice lace; the aroma is grassy with notes of candi sugar and hay; very sweet and effervescent, light-bodied and no bitterness; grapefruity and sugary finish - lemonade-like and original but not my kind of beer ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 9, 2007
Bottled. Pours out in a dark reddish brown colour with a rich white head. Hay and sweet chocolate in the aroma. Sugary flavour with light notes of juniper. Lot’s of sugar in the finish. Svagdricka is a tradition but I’m not a huge fan. larsniclas (7148) - Billdal, SWEDEN - DEC 27, 2006
Amber with a short, bubbly head.
Malty sweet aroma with some burnt toffee.
Burnt toffee-flavour. rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2006
Hazy brown,/orange color, nice lasting offwhite head. Malty, sweet aroma, with toffee and brown sugar, milky notes. Sweet flavor, but still kinda balanced. Some nuts and toffe, weak finish. This was good... oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 21, 2005
Bottled. Hazy nut brown colour with small head. Honey and caramel in flavour. Sweet saccarine flavour (kind of honeyish) with a bit bittersweet ending. Almost like having rice crispies with honey. Very nice. Good one to drink on a hot day.

Hazy reddish-brown color, some floating yeast. Aroma has molasses, brown sugar. Sweet, lots of burnt sugar, saccarine gives a bit bitterish aftertaste. Some rye-bread in the flavor too. Light to medium-bodied, good thirst-quencher.
Slight hazy amber color with no head. The taste is very sweet with notes of honey. To be fair I had this 3 months after it expired. Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2003
Brown coloured. Caramel and rye bread in the aroma. The flavour is very sweet and malty. Slightly thin. Mads Langtved (2243) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - JUL 24, 2003
Brown color. A bit thin and watery, you can tell it is a Low Alcohol. Not as malty and sweet as most other Danish Hvidtøl. omhper (25372) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 28, 2003
Sampled draught at Svensk Fatölsfestival, Nynäshamn
Brownish amber, clear, no head. Butterscotchy, bready aroma. Balanced sweetness, malty up front, then a a heavy nutty toffee flavour sets in. The finish is understandably empty, but for being 2.0%, it's way beyond expectations.
