Cask Half Pint at The Bricklayers Arms, Putney , London in Sept 2010 - Reddish Amber in colour. Fruity; citrus orange. Malty; sweet malts, toffee. Sweet fruity malty throughout. Very drinkable. (2010-09)

jjsint (3493) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2016
Cask at the Grain & Hop Store, Cambridge. Reddish brown, slightly hazy. Sour smell of rye whisky, a bit bready. Sweet malty taste with enough of a hop flavour to give in depth. More bitterness in the finish. A basic beer but quite good.

2.3
gegwilson (3800) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2015
Cask in the brewpub. Pours completely flat amber. Slight malt aroma. The taste is citrus and caramel. Watery and dull. Possibly the beer was not as it should have been. I had to return a previous beer that was clearly watered down because of line cleaning. Looking at other rating this beer should have been better than it was. The brew pub seems to have quality issues from my visit.

3.2
leaparsons (10765) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2015
Cask, The Salmon, Leicester. Amber brown with an off white foam. Aromas are caramel and dark toffee with red berries and raisins. Bready yeast with medicinal and herbal notes. Flavours are sweet toffee with a light roast character. Earthy with hedgerow berries and lemon. Peppery alcohol with a medicinal character. Nutty black tea with a dry finish. Decent malty brew.

Pith (160) - New York, USA - MAR 19, 2015
Pours amber with small white bubbly head. Aroma sweet malt biscuit. More laid back than the taste. Deep bitter sweet malt at the end of the sip. Pleasant long finish. Some sharp yeasty dough sourness maybe with sour berry. Bit roasted and almond.

On cask at The Old Cannon Brewery, Bury St Edmonds. Pours a dark golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of grassy hops, yeast, caramel and alcohol. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Nicely bitter.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear dark amber beer. Residual off white head. Smooth palate. Sweetish malt with a whisper of esters. Candy fruits in the undertone. Lacto. Smooth dry finish. A little too much with the malt sweetness but not bad.

Roasty, with caramel. Sweet and slightly bitter. Mid brown, with thin head. Ok.
