275-ml bottle courtesy of and shared with RobSog. Cloudy, even dirty medium-amber with plum and cherry notes in the nose. For 8.7%, the alcohol is well incorporated, and the body is slickly viscous with minimal carbonation. Nice bitter tannic touches on the side of the tongue. Good!

Bottle. Dark brown and red with a small head. Aromas are vinous, spicy and smoky with molasses. Yeasty with bubblegum and fair alcohol. Flavours are chocolate malts. Rich with warming alcohol. Spicy on the finish. Smooth on the palate except for slightly harsh alcohol coming through. Still good.

(Bottle 27,5 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Clear deep orangey amber golden with an almost absent head. Aroma of caramel and overripe fruit with the alcohol clearly present. Quite full-bodied with plenty of overripe fruit and vitamin-C. Completely flat. Subdued bitterness in the finish but plenty of warming alcohol. 230808

yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 5, 2008
Bottle, thx to fonefan. A clear, copper-colored beer, almost flat, except for some beige cask-like bubbles. Lovely malty nose, with beef-stock, caramel and roasted malt. Dried fruits too. Some alcohol warmth in the mouth, fullbodied, with tastes of caramel, malt and dried fruits. The finish is of the lasting kind, with caramel and beefstock. A quite lovely old ale, but it would benefit from a more pronounced and tasteful flavor. (080823)
