Gravity, Derby Summer BF 2011. Pale gold with a loose rim of suds.
Lightly buttered corn snack aroma, some gentle pine. Simplistic and lemony with a Wotsit dunked in seawater and Alka Seltzer finish. Dunk of card. Almost decent. Just a crushing comedown after the Fyne Jarl. chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2010
Cask at Egham United Services Club Beer Festival on 19 August 2010. Pale gold/straw in colour. Loose white head. Lively condition. There’s a whiff of sulphur in the aroma. Clean and fresh on the palate with plenty of citrus, moderate floral notes and a dash of bitterness. The sulphur on the nose persists as a faint tang in the flavour but isn’t disagreeably intrusive. Light but brisk mouthfeel makes for a refreshing pint (or half in this case).
