Poured a murky medium brown with a slight froth. Aroma of zesty caramel malt underlying the Brett. Medium body, flavour of biscuit, sweet berry and some funk. Bitter sweet end.

Clear medium orange amber color with a small, fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, old malt, earthy, oxidide malt, vintage, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol, oxidide, vintage, old malt, wood, vinegar. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. 
330ml bottle as ’ Old Dairy Vintage Ale 2012 Gyle 500’, 11%, shared at Travlr tasting at Chriso’s house of pizza. Dark orange, clear, small foamy tan head. Aroma is sour notes, twiggy, pungent fusel alcohols, solvent and alcohol. Not very inviting to say the least. Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is dry, twiggy, sour. All the 11% showing up. Dry and boozy. Drinks more like a vodka than a beer. Probably not what was intended! OK if you intend to take a couple of hours sipping on something. Bottle shared at Chriso’s Travlr last minute tasting. Reddy orange coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is solvent apple, tangy, light grainy. Flavour is composed of sherry, caramel, tangy apple pie, light caramel. Some solvent. Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Paul. Hazy deep gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Good fine carbonation. A decent dose of caramel - toffee malt. Bitter floralness and some acetone and brett. Light dry finish. Clunky but passable.

Lightly hazed amber/golden with moderate beige spotting and edgework.
Nose is light nail polish, butterscotch, light spice, toffee, vanilla.
Taste comprises vanilla, very fraint brett, spice, caramel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonatin, semi drying close.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Paul. Pours clear, dull copper with a wimpy, bubbly white head. The aroma holds aged, ripe fruits, figs, some caramel. Medium sweet flavor with a bit of earthy bitterness, some alcohol heat, slight metallic notes, lots of toffee, dates, wood, earth. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Bottle shared at Bruces. It pours slightly hazy deep amber - brown with minimal head. The is rich, sweet, oily, earthy, toffee, cake, butterscotch ice cream and hot cross buns. The taste is bitter, wood, boozy, earthy brett, toffee, leather and nail polish remover with a harsh bitter alcoholic finish. Medium body and low carbonation. A bit rough if truth be told.... 33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Pours slightly hazy deep amber with an off-white head. Fairly malty aroma with hints of basement, sour milk, sweet fruits, caramel and bitter berries. Rather sweet with strange and complex flavours and a slightly sour and just lightly bitter finish. Certainly different and quit tasty, but a strange one.
