And excellent Scottish Red ale. Unfortunately it's only available on tap. It's what I get at chandlers. Complex with a nice Hoppy finish. I like it very much

5/18/2016: Wow, this beer presents nicely with it’s deep copper-red color and lathery off-white head. It’s malty, but not overly sweet, candy-like or plain sugary and that’s a good thing. "Cookie dough" is actually and interesting and very applicable description. It also has some hits of ripened fruit, caramel, and bread crust. There isn’t really any hop flavor and only a very light earthy-herbal bitterness to balance this beer. The beer has a medium to medium-full body and goes down so smoothly and even has a creamy mouthfeel/texture to it. I thoroughly enjoyed this pint and discovered that it went down very easily and very quickly! Draught at Ladder 19 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Draft at Brass Tap from notes. Pours a hazy reddish amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel malts, toasted malts, some earthy notes, mild fruit character, decent but nothing really stands out with this. Dogbrick (14461) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 20, 2015
Sample at Red Brick as part of Ohio Brew Week. Hazy reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Malt, caramel and slight hops in the nose. Light-bodied with a caramel malt character and mild earthy hops in the background. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall. Draft pour. Clear copper color with a white head. The aroma has grain, smoke, and a bit of cookie dough. Medium sweetness and a touch of smoke. Medium body and moderate carbonation. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 1, 2015
12oz sample bottle. Kind of a darker, hazy, red orange color, slight brown. Ring of sort of bubbly off-white head, leaving decent bits of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Good toasty malt, some mild fruit, light bit of smoke, caramel. Nice mild to moderate bitter taste, light sweet, more dry finish. Indeed, a nice balanced scottish style. Not too sweet. phaleslu (11075) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 9, 2014
Draft at The Brass Tap - U Square. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small off white head that leaves some lace. Notes of caramel and pale malts, earth, florals, and straw. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation. Very straightforward, but good.
