12 ounce can pour. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma is a bit grainy and doughy. Sweet taste with a moderate crisp character to follow. Lighter in body and medium carbonation. jtclockwork (16685) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 19, 2016
Draft - pours blonde white head. Nose/taste of lemon, light buttered bread - light body Ferris (15901) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 9, 2016
Draft - Light stone fruit. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Light stone fruit and a long finish. Not my favourite. shigadeyo (3749) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 19, 2016
5/08/2016: This beer was the perfect accompaniment to our Ethiopian and Indian lunch as it was flavorful, yet nothing crazy. It paired so well with the spicy and rich food. It’s well-balanced and has a nice combination of malty, yeasty, grassy-herbal, citrusy and fruity flavors. The beer is slightly sweet overall with a mild hoppiness; interesting and not overly complicated, but it has some interesting depth. It’s golden and hazy with a medium body that fells fuller than it actually is. Draught at Elephant Walk in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dogbrick (13144) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 4, 2015
Sample at Grandview Digfest on 06/13/2015: Pours a clear pale gold-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lace. Malty aroma with some grassy hops and fruit in the background. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, citrus, and mild earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

12oz sample bottle. Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin kind of bubbly off-white head. Decent bits of lace. Kind of a more full body for a 5% golden, lightly dry. Maybe the light carbonation contributes to that. Sort of sweet, light bitter. Pretty bready, doughy malty flavor, sort of yeasty. Interesting stuff, but I’m not particularly jazzed by it. Seems oddly sweet and malty for something that I expected to be crisp and refreshing. Seeing the tea and sweat that phaleslu mentioned, the tea in particular is an interesting note to this, evident more in the finish. Mildly chalky texture. Not exactly what I’m looking for in a blond ale, but it’s certainly interesting, sort of in a helles kind of way (with that sweet bready doughiness) phaleslu (10325) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 9, 2014
Draft at The Brass Tap - U Square. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head that laces the glass. Notes of sweat, sweet malts, tea, caramel, toast, and brown sugar. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a mouthfeel that starts damp and finishes malty. Another straightforward and solid offering from these guys. rondphoto (4466) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - NOV 16, 2014
on tap @ Old Firehouse / Williamsburg OH --- Clear golden amber with a light white head cover, hanging sheets of lace. Taste is malt that grows in the palate, adding a light caramel followed by carbonation on the swallow. Light bittering is present in a somewhat short finish. Nice easy-drinking brew, good for sessions, good with food. drsordr (2732) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - SEP 21, 2014
Draft sample at brewpub pours hazy light yellow. Nose crystal malt and light citrus. Taste moderate bitter up front, then mid palate dominated by grainy malt. Late palate some citrus. Light bitter finish. Tmoney99 (14604) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 14, 2014
Tap sample. Poured clear yellow color with an average white fizzy head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.
