This is now my second favorite pale ale next to headwaters and without a doubt the best beer I’ve ever had out of a 16 oz. can. It’s got a medium body and well balanced malt profile, slightly toward the hoppy side with a pleasant citrus flavor.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium creamy/bubbly off white head. Aroma of fresh citrusy and floral hops, light caramel. Flavor of the same. Great hop profile one of the better pale ales I have had in a while.

Draft at Old Forge. Poured golden with thin head and a lot of lacing. Super fresh. I’ve had this before and never as impressed as I was today. Pine, grass resin, and little caramel malt. Tasty

Bottle: The aroma consists of caramel, peaches, and a touch of citrus. It pours a transparent amber with a small off white head. The flavor starts with caramel, fruit, and faint cotton candy. The finish has some light-moderate grapefruit.

On tap at Old Forge after a day at Knoebel’s during the Campground Brewdown. Pours a clear orange amber with a thin white head. Soft musk and citrus, toast. Sweet malt, toast and earthy hops. Soft bitter finish with more earthy hop notes.

2012-08-18. crisp orange body with a nice beige head and lace. 3+ Fruity citrusy hops, nice bitterness, very light leafy hop character. 7+ Hoppy citrusy lightly leafy character grows as it goes on. Average plus bodied palate works for it. 3+ Pretty decent, hoppy enough to be an IPA really. On tap, Old Forge brewpub

Pours an orange amber with a light tan foamy head. Aroma of piney resin and citrus fruit. Mildly malty with a large amount of hop bitterness throughout. Finishes crisp and clean without too much lingering bitterness
