Pours a light amber color with a minimal head. Flavors and aromas of citrus and caramel. Moderately bitter. Pretty light mouthfeel. An average APA but at least it’s good to see that Puerto Rico can make some decent beer. Bricks (1118) - Delaware, USA - DEC 31, 2011
Smells faintly of hops. Nothing special about the appearance, medium body, fair carbonation. Balanced, not bad. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 11, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Copper with nice lacing. Fruity American hops. Soft palate and quaffable. Nice balanced beer. Not overly hoppy, but very nice. jzzbassman (1615) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUN 5, 2011
On Tap at brewery. Disappointing. Yeah, their description of no bitterness is not a good thing. Seems when they depart from the German styles the result is not as good. Overly sweet for the style, with an off sour aroma. NOt a terrible beer, but not particularly worth drinking. tnkw01 (1753) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 26, 2011
Bottle. Floral, hoppy aroma. More bitter then thought but still tasty. Nice copper, amber color. Liked it.

Tercera del sampler de 5 en el brewery. Son cervezas bien a lo aleman/ europa. Talvez es la mejor de las 5 hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 4, 2010
On tap at the brewery. Poured amber copper color with a creamy head, coming from draft. Flavor: Earthy grassy, spicy light hops, euro malts. Palate is medium bodied. Much better that the last two. rule69 (1) - , PUERTO RICO - DEC 19, 2009 does not count
This is the newer version of Old Harbor’s Pale Ale. A roubust flavor with a nice floral aroma, pours copper, good head retention, a little sweet on the nose, then a nice bitter tingling with a warm feeling in the stomach. This beer is brewed by the new Master Brewer at OHB, Wolfgang Lindell, a true German Master Brewer(since 2007 I think) and has nothing to do with older versions brewed at OHB. LtDan (1806) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - MAY 25, 2009
Aromas of earthy, grassy hops and pale malt.
Appearance: Poured amber with a creamy head, coming from draft.
Flavor: Earthy grassy, spicy hops, euro malts.
Palate: Full bodied.
Overall: Very drinkable, a great option if you are in Old San Juan. Rusty (1547) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAY 9, 2009
Pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is hops. malt, caramel, water. Flavor is malt, harsh bitter hops, water with a decent amount of hop bitterness in the finish. Decent Pale Ale. Super happy to find this here in what I thought was going to otherwise be a beer wasteland.
