New country #152! Dark copper color, steady beige/off-white head. Aroma has caramalt, and bread. Medium-bodied. Caramel, bread, light earthy hoppyness, hints of alcohol. Quite nice German style beer.Perhaps more like a Märzen or even Vienna than a typical Oktoberfest.
It's Oktoberfest again. This is Old Harbor answer to the call. Just shy from a real German beer, need more robust flavor.

Draught @ the brewpub in San Juan. They served a five sample. We were told that this was the 2008 version of Oktoberfest beer. Average fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Somewhat clear golden color. Aroma of toasted malt, mild buttery, light flower like dusty notes. Over the palate came mild malty notes with a hint of underlying floral hoppyness. Light bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light sweet flavor with mild bitterness. 27 oct 07, on tap @ Old Harbor Brewery in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Rotating Seasonal Beer. Hazy, unfiltered, copper color. Light tan head. Unfiltered appearance is very nice. Aroma is sweet and candy like. Very floral. flavors are nutty with a hint of ripe banana and hints of tobacco. Finishes like a lighter colored DunkelWeisse. flavors are very similar to a wheat beer, though hoppier.

on tap at brewpub. It was an Octoberfest when I visited. 11/24/06. Ok aroma, sweet. Fruity, caramel, lite pumpkinish thing going on. Clean brownish orange color, Small head with ok lace. Sweet flavor. Like aroma. Minor roasty notes. I get a certain taste I associate with pale lagers. Medium body, lite creamy mouthfeel. Clean finish. A foggy brown with a nice head. It’s almost like a German enfluenced brown... Pretty interesting. Taste is the lighy caramel, along with pale malts, and a bit of the yeastiness to it. Interesting beer, probably the best of the bunch.
