On tap at Old Main Brewery (formerly Crossways) pub in Hilton. Have had it there a few times, a good companion to a pub lunch. Refreshing, easy drinking. Amber colour, medium bitterness. sivrat (3) - - JUN 14, 2014 does not count
Out the bottle a bit flat, big diacetyl hindered the palate, but an easy drinking and smooth. Coolmac (58) - SOUTH AFRICA - JUN 14, 2014
Sharpness to the aroma, hiding the caramel malt aromas. Amber in color with thin head. Flavour is fruity, more like an ale than a lager, with strong diacetyl in the finish. Low carbonation. A nice enough beer, more like an English ale than a lager though. aleksander9 (1839) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 12, 2014
Its a well made lager, but not a very crafty one. Please dont be afraid of flavour. nobody likes flavourless food and same should go with craft beer.
AtronSeige (1640) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - NOV 20, 2013

2A German Pils Oakes (18209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 1, 2012
On tap at Unity, Durban. Amber colour with maybe some chill haze. The aroma is caramel but with some pedio. Soft, low carbonation body with a hint of tartness. Ok beer, with a touch of caramel, but not all that clean.
