Milder than I would have preferred, but nicely done in the same sense, quite well balanced. Malty, and full of rich fruitiness, perhaps some spearmint, that I am sure has something to do with a hop characteristic that I just cannot put my finger on. On tap at the Old Market. This brew ended up being the best of the brews on the taster tray. Pours a darker red with a medium off-white head. Lots of fruity hops in the aroma, fairly aromatic. Taste starts with a light fruitiness to the very lightly sweet malts. This brew finishes with a nicely balanced floral/citrus hop finish. unfiltered dark ruby brown, no head, sticky lacing. like a mild version of the hop on with a little more unbalanced bitterness.
