[Tap - Old Market Pub]
A deep dark reddish color with a slight head. This had a very nice balance and the flavors where very good. A tad of extra hops and the rich flavor was great. I liked this beer I can and would drink another. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - FEB 19, 2006
Milder than I would have preferred, but nicely done in the same sense, quite well balanced. Malty, and full of rich fruitiness, perhaps some spearmint, that I am sure has something to do with a hop characteristic that I just cannot put my finger on. Definitely quenches the thirst. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - JAN 17, 2005
On tap at the Old Market. This brew ended up being the best of the brews on the taster tray. Pours a darker red with a medium off-white head. Lots of fruity hops in the aroma, fairly aromatic. Taste starts with a light fruitiness to the very lightly sweet malts. This brew finishes with a nicely balanced floral/citrus hop finish. Not overly bitter, but a good dose of hops makes this a good refreshing brew. Murphy (1759) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 9, 2004
Good hop aroma. Nice balance between sweetness and hops. Hop aftertaste. Don't know if this fits the style correctly. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - FEB 7, 2004
unfiltered dark ruby brown, no head, sticky lacing. like a mild version of the hop on with a little more unbalanced bitterness.

Murky dark red/brown. Big thick malts in the taste, thick and foamy with a flavor of sweet apples and maple. Finish is soapy, with a sweet plum and malt nose. microdyke (360) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 22, 2003
A brown color with a small head. The flavor was typical of an amber...some citrus, hops and a little bitterness. BeaverBrown (245) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 15, 2003
Has a reddish brown color with a small tan head. Smells and taste like hops and caramel.
