YantarCoast (1513) - Moscow, RUSSIA - OCT 27, 2017
500ml bottle at 4% from the brewery. Pours caramel brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma is malt, lightly toasted, nuts. Taste is malt, toffee, light hoppy bitterness.

Itstasty (113) - East Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2017
Cask @ The Wellington, Howden, East Yorkshire. Ruby red, lively beer. Bitter, as expected, inoffensive and easy drinking. Unremarkable though.

3.3
wheresthepath (2395) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2017
Bottle from Bridlington Co-op. An amber brew with a thin white head and a rather prickly fizz at first, although this did ease off a bit. Nice rich malty smell. Taste is more malt and red fruits and fudge and just a hint of metal. Maybe just a tadge too sweet, but still good to have a traditional malty bitter, they seem all too rare these days. Enjoyed it.

3.5
johndoughty (5543) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2017
Bottle. Bronze with a small head. Slightly malty with a bitter finish. A good session bitter. My first from this brewery.

rauchbier (3933) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2016
Bottle, from Co-op, Hessle. Hazy amber gold, thin short lived white head and low condition. Muted sweet caramel in the nose, quite sweet and unbalanced in the mouth with a brief, half hearted hop note and a touch of yeasty fruitiness. Finish is slightly tangy and a little sweet.

2.8
zacgillbanks (5506) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2016
Bottle from York Beer & Wine. Hazy amber coloured with toffee, marzipan and sulphur flavours followed by a bitter-sweet gentle woody finish. Ok considering the low ABV.

AshtonMcCobb (6913) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 14, 2014
Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - amber with some head. Nose - stewed apple, maybe some malt and butter. Taste - malt and butter, not much fruit. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry finish which isn’t necessarily that pleasant. Overall - a bit hum drum!

allmyvinyl (11019) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 14, 2014
500ml bottle shared with AshtonMcCobb. Pours clear amber, thin white head. Light apple and butter aromas, some toffee. Taste is toffee, malty, light bitter. Light spice note. Abrupt finish. OK.

jamesie1857 (1980) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2014
On cask at Lord Nelson, Brigg, Lincolnshire - Rich ruby clear body, thick white head, rather pretty beer. Nose is bitter ripe fruit, lots of bitterness throughout and not always pleasant. Not sure if this was in bad condition or what, it wasn’t that good.

2.7
kerenmk (5169) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - SEP 28, 2013
Cask at CAMRA York Beer and Cider Festival, 21.9.2013. Clear golden with white foam. Wet bread, some honey in the nose, Unpleasing bitterness in the mouth. Light body, bready finish.
