One thing you'll see from my analysis of these beers is that if I don't like the beer, I at least usually have a fond memory of it. This one is no exception. Old Milwaukee Light is the first beer I ever COMPLAINED about. My friends father 'Rocky' used to love this stuff, mainly because it was cheap. When ever I raided his refrigerator I used to bitch, 'Rocky, when are you going to start paying more than $6 for a case of beer!!?' I don't drink anymore Old Milwaukee Light because Rocky died a couple years ago. I wish I still had some to bitch about...

Straight up bullshit swill for people who dont know the first thing about classy brew. But then again taste is subjective.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2005 I’m still looking, not too hard, but I have yet to find a macro light beer that is any tastier than this one. It’s probably just me, but it doesn’t seem to have that watered down texture to it that so many of them do.

One of the cleanest, best tasting light beers around. Seems most of the purely microbrew drinkers aren't rating beers against others of the same style...because if they were then they would realize that Old Milwaukee Light is a top quality light beer. How many times has this one won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival? Consumer Reports consistently rates Old Milwaukee as a best buy. This is a helluva good light beer. Is this as good and flavorful as a top notch American pale ale? No way, but we're not talking about pale ales, just light lagers and this is a damn good one.

Good lord, this stuff sucks. Click on the Pabst Brewing Company link up top. Is there anything reputable from this company??? Is there a difference in any of their brews?
