UPDATED: JUL 26, 2005 I’m still looking, not too hard, but I have yet to find a macro light beer that is any tastier than this one. It’s probably just me, but it doesn’t seem to have that watered down texture to it that so many of them do. mikenodak (150) - Fargo, North Dakota, USA - DEC 1, 2001
Cheap, light, and virtually undrinkable. Hoss (607) - Florida, USA - NOV 18, 2001
If light is what you want this is one of the better ones Beer Guy99 (251) - Maineville, Ohio, USA - NOV 17, 2001
One of the cleanest, best tasting light beers around. Seems most of the purely microbrew drinkers aren’t rating beers against others of the same style...because if they were then they would realize that Old Milwaukee Light is a top quality light beer. How many times has this one won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival? Consumer Reports consistently rates Old Milwaukee as a best buy. This is a helluva good light beer. Is this as good and flavorful as a top notch American pale ale? No way, but we’re not talking about pale ales, just light lagers and this is a damn good one. Good lord, this stuff sucks. Click on the Pabst Brewing Company link up top. Is there anything reputable from this company??? Is there a difference in any of their brews?

Still won’t drink a beer named Old Milwaukee Light, cuz it’s brewed in Detroit. bipolar1 (268) - Hancock, Michigan, USA - SEP 21, 2001
I bartend at a golf course in Upper Michigan, and you would not believe how much of this CRAP we sell there. The empty can bin for our OM distributor would make an Auschwitz krematorium smell like fresh cinnamon rolls. P-tor44 (886) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - SEP 4, 2001
Frat boy swill, the only taste is a sick malty flavor 21iceman40 (1735) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 2, 2001
I think they call this stuff old mildew based only on the flavor. Kind of watered down. sleepdirt (169) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 20, 2001
Still ranks as memorable--probably the worst beer I have ever tasted.
