Originally rated on 9/19/08. Old milwaukee aint that great to begin with and its worse watered down. Lower end as far as light beers go, there are plenty others i would chose first

Lets face it -- this beer serves a purpose, and it serves it well. A 30 pack costs less than 17 bucks here, and if you slam enough of these, you will get drunk. And thats the point...you CAN slam enough of these. Doesnt cause headaches for me. However, it is what it is, and is scored as such.

Its refreshing. Its a lawnmower beer. You could definitely chug a few of these while playing Flip Cup or Beer Pong. Not for the beer aficionado.

It is what it is....lawnmower beer basically. Mostly like the regular OM, but watered down a bit. I may prefer it more over the original. There may be a few worse, but not too many.

Transfer from BA review on 1-2-13- Poured from can into a pint glass Appearance Pours a light straw color with a big billowy white head. The head has a surprisingly nice level of retention slowly fading over time to leave a rather decent level of lacing on the sides of the glass. Smell The aroma is quite basic and consists mostly of some sweet corn malt smells as well as some light bready aromas. Mixed with the rest is also a very light papery smell. Taste Overall the taste is very light and watery. The taste begins with a lighter corn and bready flavor. The corn flavor is actually quite a bit lighter then would have been expected from the nose. As the taste advances these two flavors remain relatively constant but are, at the end, joined by a light caramel sweetness, a light papery taste, and a tiny bit of citrus. Overall it leaves a rather dry and crisp taste on the tongue. Mouthfeel The body of the beer is very low in terms of thickness with a carbonation level that is average to above average. Quite appropriate for the style, although even more carbonation may have been better for the very light flavors and drinkability of the beer. Overall If you are looking for something light then this is your choice. Its flavors are super mellow, it is very watery, highly drinkable, and decently refreshing.

Can into pint glass like a fancy man, very light pale golden color with white lacing. Aroma of pale malt sweetness and corn. Taste adds some graininess and cardboard. Light body, heavy carbonation, watery, crisp with clean finish. Kind of on the sweet side of American macro-lagers but still watery and generally refreshing.

Can: Light, clear gold with a huge, white cloud of a head. Sweet grain aroma. Taste is soft, watery...grain malt. Pretty bland...but Man, do I feel hydrated!
