Sampled on draught at Barrel & Bushel at Tyson’s Corner. Black with a tan head and roasted malt aromas. Taste of roasted coffee. Mouthfeel is a little thin and the taste a little metallic, but otherwise, this is a decent porter. Quite drinkable. Capa (3716) - DC, Washington DC, USA - FEB 3, 2018
Deep brown to black with a tan head. Roasty malt, coffee, chocolate, earth, a bit of spice. Medium body. Great porter. Aggiebob (1432) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - NOV 16, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 16, 2017 Draft at Crystal City Sports Pub. It poured black with a tan head and fair lacing. It has a roasted malt aroma with notes of coffee and light cocoa with some spiciness on the tongue. A very nice Porter. e6stock (2) - Virginia, USA - SEP 4, 2017 does not count
Rich, thick and chocolaty. Color and head mean nothing to me in a brew. Just taste matters. This tastes great! Padedze (49) - - JUN 11, 2017
Purchased in Washington DC (the brew shop) May 2017. Great coffee chocolate aroma. Cola brown but no head. Light carbonation. Rich flavor. Really nice.

Pours a deep brownish black on tap with bubbly tan head that leaves good lace. Aroma of nice dark roasted malts and slight earth. Taste follows, a solid porter, don’t really get the rye. Moderate bitterness, easy drinker. OnTheTrail (623) - Virginia, USA - JAN 17, 2017
Pours black, big Brown head. Aroma is strong coffee and chocolate. Taste is similar , more spice. Mouthfeel is very carbonated, creamy. Strykzone (7848) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JAN 5, 2017
12 ounce can from nimbleprop. Deep colors. Black and amber. A rocky tan head leaves heavy lacing. In the aroma I get something like pine that leads. Chocolate and roast notes. The flavor begins with very big roast but milk chocolate drifts in. And then dry bitter bakers chocolate. Some rye spice, too. A rich feel.
