Tap at RFD. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is earthy and fruity. Med body at least. Flavor matches aroma with some pleasing hot bits. Nice.

magsinva (1493) - Virginia, USA - MAY 21, 2017
Draft @ Old Ox - clear gold with a white head, nice sweet dry balance, some fruitiness. Nice, though I’m not 100% sure it’s a saison.

DiarmaidBHK (6170) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 21, 2017
Draft at brewery. Pours golden with a big pillowy white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Has a bit of the Belgian yeast thing on the nose. Kind of sweet on the tongue with the orange and spice notes. Finished clean. It’s certainly quaffable but I’m not sure it’s a saison.

Hazy golden coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, hay, wheat and a touch of citrus elements - relatively nice smelling throughout. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavour at first with a noticeable hop backbone showing through the lighter malt flavours, but the grass and herbal flavours are the strongest throughout. Aftertaste shows some grass, lemons, coriander seed and a bit of yeast flavours, but this is all about the grass and hay. Overall, a decent saison with a nice flavour, but not much complexity throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia on 02-April-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 08-May-2016.

deyholla (12663) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 17, 2016
On tap at the Rappahannock Oyster Bar. Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has a decent amount of flora with Belgian yeast, light fruits and sweet grains supporting. Flavor has light light fruits and flora throughout with a sweet grain backbone.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 11, 2015
Draft. Medium white head atop cloudy straw body. Aroma is moderately sweet, lemon/orange, some yeast spicy, light guava. Taste is moderately sweet, spicy, lemon, light bread/seltzer. Medium body. Not sure what makes this a BDG.

bytemesis (9619) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 17, 2015
Tap. Pours clear golden, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is pepper, coriander, grains of paradise, grass. Flavor is light plus sweet, very spiced, oranges, fields grass. Medium body. Too much spice and to much sweetness

BeerandBlues2 (14407) - Escondido, California, USA - AUG 22, 2015
Tap at Leesburg Public House. Pours clear gold with a medium, fizzy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is black pepper, earthy wheat malt and lemon notes. nimbleprop (9041) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 24, 2015
Sampled at the brewery pours a hazy gold with some thin, white head. Nose is sugary, floral, tropical fruit, mild spice. Flavor is sweet, fruity, spicy, tropical fruit, some candy, straw. Full bodied, sticky finish. A little messy.

OnTheTrail (621) - Virginia, USA - MAY 22, 2015
from non existent notes - tasted after a bike ride to the brewery - this was refreshing, light and tasty. I want more Saisons, and more from Old Ox.
