med amber color, lots of caramel and citrusy. Very bitter but body isn’t so heavy . This is your standard PNW IIPA though certainly doesn’t take me anywhere special. thegreenrooster (4396) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 9, 2013
Pour is a hazy orange with an average white head. Aroma is on the sweeter side with fresh citrusy hops. Flavor is again sweet honey malts up front then comes your citrus/pine like west coast hops. Not a total hop bomb with the sweeter malt used but this just makes it into the solid category with a decent hoppy backbone. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - OCT 31, 2013
Bottle pours a murky orange with a thin white top. Nose is caramel and pine. Taste follows nose with notes of citrus. Nice bitter finish. JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 2, 2013
Found this at Bottleworks over the weekend and shared it with COOP Matt tonight..
Pours a dark golden with a nice white head that shows sheets of lacing.
Nose is tropical fruitiness and hints of pine... Not nearly as hoppy as I would hope for a DIPA...
Flavor has hints of EtOH... the bitterness shows mainly on the finish... The hops are again tropical/pineapple, but they are still pretty light.
Body seems a bit heavy without enough carbonation...
I had REALLY high hopes for this one after talking to the fella at Bottleworks... but it was a huge letdown... Decent, but I would never buy again without knowing there was a BIG reworking of the recipe. douglas88 (9176) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 8, 2013
Bomber. Pours a clear copper color with a large white head. A light nose of tangerine and lemon. Smooth rich, resin some lemon and oranges, low bitterness. Very smooth and nice.

This beer pours a very hazy, orange body with almost an inch of light-tan head that settles to a wide ring and thin sheet, leaving ringed and patchy lacing on the glass. The highly aromatic nose is a nice balance of piney, orange-citrusy, and tea-like hops and medium-sweet, caramely malt. Similar balance and flavors on the palate, with the malt setting a fairly sweet and very caramely base while the hops have flavors of sweet tea, pine, and sweet, green, leafy herbs, with lingering, moderate bitterness. The beer is full bodied, medium in carbonation, and bordering on being cloying, but that aspect is saved by the lingering bitterness. Overall, though, this is a bit too sweet, even for an Imperial IPA. It’s enjoyable, but because of the sweetness, there’s no way I could drink the entire bomber.
bottle. Amber with two finger head. Big piney hops and medium level of malt. Good imperial IPA, but not anything particularly special. Ed5388 (3477) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 4, 2013
22oz bomber. Pours a deep copper color with two fingers of white head. Nice aroma of citrus hops, and some biscuit malt. Taste follows nose with citrus and pine up front, a nice malty backbone, and a long bitter finish. StaleBeer (22) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Nice earthy aroma. Sweet malty taste upfront with a slight bitter back end. Good amber color. Nice IPA. Berta4519 (27) - New York, USA - MAY 30, 2013
Was pleasantly surprised. Brewed with honey? Fresh juicy fruit back bone. Really enjoyed it
