Cask at GBBF 2010. An unclear dark brown beer with lots of sediment floating around under a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, lemony hops, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits as well as lighter notes of chocolate, leading to a dry and bitter finish. The body is light and I find the beer a bit boring. fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2011

A Sim rate (cask at the MNP - would you believe it!?): Roasty, chocolately flavour that’s pretty nicely toasted. Great brown appearance with nice head and lacing. Rich, dark chocolate flavour with a real alcoholic hit. Not sure where that came from. Pretty damn good! SaintMatty (7362) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - SEP 2, 2010

From cask. Pours murky brown with a lot of sediment and with a dusty tan head. Aroma is liqourice and spiced. Fruity hoppy. Bitter and dark roasted malty. Distinct hoppy into a dry and bitter finish. Ends one dry and fruity. cgarvieuk (24456) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 3, 2010
