(Draught at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 17 Apr 2009) Dark reddish amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity, malty nose with dark fruit, herbs and hints of plums. Fruity, malty taste with notes of crystal malts, plums and nuts. Medium body, low bitterness, fairly dry. A bit weird but defintely decent. yespr (45412) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2008

Bottle at Le Sous-Bock, Paristhebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 17, 2007
The bottle kept spitting foam for 30 minutes; it pours a dark amber color, with a lot of small particles in it; it has obviously a very big head. The aroma is strange, it can be a mix of herbs and lemonade. Medium body structure, with some residual sweetness, but no special flavor. The Patxaran (whatever it is), may be detected in the aftertaste. Very ordinary, smooth, sweetish beer, with a strange touch.
From bottle at Le Sous-Bock, Paris. Hazy, burgundy with a good tan head. Fruity aroma with hints of spices. Refreshing prune flavours, balanced by bitter spices. Fizzy. Interesting and enjoyable.

brewed for the contract brewer Oldarki - hazy golden-amber colour with a nice firm foam; aroma of plum and yeast with a touch of alcohol; medium-bodied, rather sweet and with a hint of sourness; no bitterness and a gentle fruity finish - unusual and quite pleasant MaverickTango (1) - Leeds, ENGLAND - OCT 25, 2005 does not count

Weird beer that I taste during a sort visit to the french-basque country. Not bad. jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - OCT 1, 2001
A bit hoppy and sweet with something special that a can’t quite place. Not bad at all but no beer to drink more than 1 or 2.
