24 oz. can picked up locally from notes. Pours a clear pale golden color with a small disappearing white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet grainy malt, corn, some weird chemical note, some metallic character. This was not very good. petewhitley (566) - Nagoya, JAPAN - DEC 23, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2015 Skunky aroma, but not overbearing. Clear gold, minimal head. Sticky sweet, not particularly strong aftertaste, but seems to leave a film on the lips. I have fond memories of the original Olde English, but this is a downgrade in several ways. slowrunner77 (12037) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2014
"beer #2 - ghetto tasting: less skunky in aroma than the Colt, otherwise not all that different. Flavor is just as horrid. I guess in a pinch I’d pick this one, though they score the same." beechner224 (1024) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Can share thanks Homer. Pours golden with white head. Aroma of corn and boost. Taste is corn, yellow, burn, tough one. Homer321 (5070) - Melboring, Florida, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Can from Frank!!! Nose is strong adjunct and apple. Pour is a clear golden yellow with a small lingering white head. Taste is super sweet and candy like. Ugh. Way too sweet.

Can share thanks to Homer321. brilliantly clear, thin white head. Sweet, adjunct - corny, smooth aroma. Very sweet, malty very corny flavor. Strangebrewer (1308) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 30, 2014
40oz bottle. Poured clear gold with a big white head. Light grainy aroma. Medium body with quite a creamy mouthfeel that finishes with a warming alcohol feel. Sweet grainy malt flavour with alcohol. Not the worst beer I’ve had. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 20, 2014
UPDATED: APR 21, 2014 24oz can, bought from a Kroger located in a more urban location. Best by September 1, 2014. Clear golden, slightly orange color. Good thin off-white head, retains well. Leaves good ropes and bits of lace. Looks pretty decent. Medium body. Kind of smooth texture, light to moderate carbonation, light bite to the texture. Lightly slick. Lightly drying finish. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter, light bite in the finish... Not as bad as expected. Pretty solid for an 8% malt liquor, really. Bready flavor, lightly peppery, not much more to the aroma beyond that. Not too much offensive about it. Just a light mustiness, light hint of metallic, but surprisingly clean overall, especially for an 8%’r. Solid stuff. One of the better malt liquors I’ve ever had, hides the alcohol well. Actually managed to kill the whole can myself without much of an issue. DuffMan (10421) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 20, 2014
Can, "shared" with Parksy and Grippitis as a punishment beer that was served up anytime one of us made a doubtful/negative/faithless/disloyal comment about the Seahawks. This is sheer aweful piss juice. But it worked-- Seahawks are on the way to the Superbowl! exeter (535) - calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 18, 2014
A sugar coated corn chip. Is it absolute crap, no, but close. I’d stop drinking if this is the best I could afford. It’s a gateway beer, a gateway to Natty light. Not to far to go.
