Hey Roger! I can see the Ole Hickory folks like YOU!!! This was nice! And the Price was TOO!!!! Poured a dark amber with a slight haze and a light head that lay there. Aroma was hoppy. Flavor was full of hops and oak. Very nice mouth feel. The aftertaste leaves you wanting more! This is a really good beer for an affordable price!

Bottle shared by Drew at Ale Alpharetta. Pours a light orange, with a small, bubbly, off-white head. The aroma is earth, leather, some light oak, and predominantly floral hops. Significantly bitter, with a faint mineral and funk. Medium body, thick, and sticky. This is fair, but something was a little off in the flavor.

July Ale Alpharetta. Get tinges of the oak in much more subtle way than the Cigar City oaked ipa. Mostly caramel with citrus, bits of pine and earthiness. Not shabby.

Cybercat (6155) - Georgia, USA - JUL 17, 2014
Pours a hazy honey golden with a thin eggshell head. Hoppy aroma has a grapefruit underpinning. Hoppy flavor is woody and bitter, not quite what the aroma promises. Texture is fizzy but thin, leaving a hoppy finish. Not their best, but fair to middlin’.

an IPA aged on oak, brewed especially for Bestway Grocery in Greensboro, NC (one of the best beer selections around); cloudy amber color; piney, oaky aroma; lots of piney hops on a medium-bodied caramel malt base; very mild hints of oak; dry, bitter finish

Well crap. Just realized the best buy date on this one. Either way a nce subtle caramel lightly hoped drink. Murky orange color with a little bit of citrus in the aroma. Citrus orang flavors with a sweetness that is light and lasts a while. Finish is sweet orange candy and bitter hops. Though they could be bigger.

Pours a nice clear amber/oragne color with a foamy white head leaving solid lacing. Aroma is of oak, citrus, and some grapefruit and malt. Flavor is hoppy bitter with some pine citrus and floral. Dry bitter finish. Mouthfeel is dry carbonation is average. Overall a little underwhelming.

Bottle, from the Beer Dispensary. Good aroma. Oak and citrus, grapefruit mainly. Hazed brownish orange color. Good head and lace. Bitter flavor. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, , bitter dry sweet finish. It’s ok I. The scheme of things, but oak is strong and powers over ipa overall.

Bomber from Bestway, which has hosted the largest Olde Hickory selection I’ve seen anywhere, so its cool to see that the brewery appreciates them. Pours a hazy pale amber color with a large frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of doughy malts, citrus and floral hops and mild wood notes. The taste is herbal, citrus, resin hops, doughly malts, oak in the finish with a tiny bit of vanilla. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Nice beer.

From 22oz bottle. Was looking for a lighter summer beer that's reasonably priced, and may have found it. Poured a light copper/deep amber. Has nice lacing. Hoppy aroma, with flavor to match. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from best way. Pours dark orange with an inch of khaki foam. Not much on the nose although I could almost make out a spare vanilla note. Not much flavor on the tongue because of all the bitterness. I’m not sure the aging did much for this one.
