Pours a mild light brown. Smooth mouthfeel. Aroma is very floral with a little caramel. Flavor is dry and earthy with a slightly floral finish. Underwhelming. lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 12, 2009

Draught. Yeah, this is most certainly red with a firm tan head. The nose is a bit musty with notes of bread, caramel, and basement air. This proves to be very easy drinking due to a general absence of any assertive character. There is mild maltiness present with faint traces of bark, suggestions of hard candy, and hints of biscuits. The beer is well balanced with no off flavors, it’s a suitable session drink. aracauna (3705) - Georgia, USA - JUL 18, 2006
Clear amber. The aroma is faint, and the flavor is a cracker malt with touch of caramel. Easy to drink, but boring. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - JUL 6, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Clear red color with thin white head. Not much nose to speak of. Earthy flavor with a dry, bitter finish. Tastes kind of like my dog smells when she is wet. Not what you want in a beer. tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - DEC 7, 2005
Draught. Clear golden orange with thin whitish head, quickly dissipating. The aroma is bready malt and must. The flavor has some malt sweetness, but mostly wood and grassy hops, with some soapy notes. The finish is musty and dry. Not awful, but not terribly interesting. Suttree (6537) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 9, 2004
Bright Copper, decent head. Malty, peppery aroma. Crisp earthy, woodsy hop flavor. Decent musty, dirty finish but slightly watery. Good session beer.
