UPDATED: AUG 17, 2016 cloudy amber color; nice citrus hop aroma with pine notes; great, bitter, piney, citrusy hop flavor; juicy, resiny hops; lots of hops on a medium-bodied malt base; dry, bitter aftertaste jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 4, 2014
22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral, citrusy, and resinous hops plus caramel and pale malts and a little dough. Flavor the same with a nice blend of everything. Average texture. A pretty good IPA, but a little too bitter and not the best blend of hops. Brigadier (3750) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - FEB 27, 2014

A very nice East Coast IPA straddles the line between IPA and Imperial IPA. Either way you call it the result is a well balanced hop bomb that is gone before you know it. I will definitely have to keep Olde Hickory in mind if I am ever in the area traveling.
Aroma / Appearance - A creamy opaque foundation simmers in the glass. Ivory head adds to the relaxing warm presence. Lemons, orange zest, resin, and more are like a hoppy custard in a glass.
Flavor / Palate - A bright bite of resin brushes away thirst immediately. Floor wax sweeps into a strong bitterness that refrains from being completely over the top. Full boded and warm it is the definition of an East Coast IPA. Raise your expectations if you are just expecting yet another local ho-hum effort.
On tap at Olde Hickory. Pours a golden color with white head. Grassy, citrus, hoppy, piney aromas. Citrus, hoppy, piney flavors. Pretty nice ipa, better than the other ipas at Olde Hickory. cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 6, 2014
On tap @ Olde Hickory. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Sticky, piney hops. Fair amount of grapefruit in the aroma. Kind of goopy mouth feel. Dank hops. Quite sticky. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Wish it didn’t have quite as much malt presence but still pretty good.

This one poured a bright orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of citrusy hops, caramel malt, and alcohol. Flavor was simiarly, lemony and grass and caramel. jhliesen (836) - West Melbourne, Florida, USA - FEB 2, 2014
Bomber--gold color with a medium, white head. Sweet aroma that is decently muted of citrus and pine. Nice, sweet grapefruit taste with lots of hops, but not dominated by the said hops. Solid hop, bitter finish, great stuff. Appalchian Vinter. Dogbones (116) - North Carolina, USA - JAN 30, 2014
Bomber to glass. Pours amber with some opacity. Nice white head that laces nicely down the side of the glass. Smells of citrus hops and resin. Tastes of cirtus goodness and is hoppy deliciousness. Glad this one is a staple in my area.

Oh, how I love the smell of hops and this beer doesn’t disappoint in the aroma department. Like all DIPA’s, this brew is very hoppy, but goes down extremely smooth. Is a great compliment to the dominating West Coast IPA’s, but this one is on the East Coast....that’s good news for me! icehawk (876) - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, USA - JAN 4, 2014
Bottle. Awesome citrus and floral aroma. Medium body, a tiny bit sticky, but overall very well put together. Awesome citrus flavors. Really nice.
