From bottle. Pours a clear golden color with an off white, frothy head. I donít get much in the way of aroma, however I can pick up a slightly grassy/resin smell. Taste is very hop forward, I donít get much of the malts but thats how I like them. Very smooth and easy to drink, finishes with a nice hop bitterness.
Sampled at Olde Hickory Brewery (Amos Howard's Brew Pub), pours a clear orange with some slightly off white head. Nose has pine, grass, soap, some orange, lemon. Flavor has potpourri, lemon, grass, orange zest. Finishes bitter but dry. Could be balanced with a bit more malt, but yet, that's likely the point!

Itís a hop soup. Vertical flavors and orange with some notes of faint chocolate at the very end. Pretty heavy handed and good. M4grem (57) - North Carolina, USA - JUN 2, 2016
Pucker up butter cup!! Ya better like it bitter. Zero balance, but I think that's the idea.

Six pack left in my fridge. Nice touch. This beer is well done, but just too much for me. More is not always better. Beautiful cloudy orange pour, tight white head. Great legs. Mouthfeel really slick/ oily/ resin. Tons of hops- sort of too bitter and too sweet all at once. Citrus, pine and caramel dominate. 108IBUís is just not necessary. Do like the Centennial and Simcoe notes though. Nice dry finish. Too much of a good thing happening here. travita (4993) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 28, 2016
Bottle. The look is clear, golden copper in color, with a white head. The smell is hops, fruit, pine, resiney, dank. The taste is good, hops, piney, alcohol, bitter, but good. jkwalking05 (4734) - Arlington, Texas, USA - APR 28, 2016
12 oz bottle. Amber in color with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of pine, dank, bitter herbs, and grass. Taste is of pine, grass, bitter pill, bitter herbs, and grass. TylerGreenDC (935) - - APR 13, 2016
12 oz bottle. My first one in five yeats holds up very well to my memory. Huge pine resin and tangerine aroma. Flavors of sweet-then-tart tangerine candy, orange and caramel. Big bitterness, big sweetness, wonderfully sticky. World class. OrthoDoc (189) - South Carolina, USA - APR 13, 2016
5 week old IPA : Aroma is very much like Stone Enjoy By with big tropical juicy hops. Taste is similar and very pleasant until the very aggressive bitterness hits you in the face. The bitterness lingers and really overwhelms the excellent hop characters. If the bitterness was less I would give the a much higher score. Worth another try but watch out for the bite!
