It has the aroma of yeast and bread with hay maybe. It has an amber appearance with a medium bodied light tan head. It has a yeasty taste mixed with dough that is decent, but not spectacular. GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 10, 2012
Tap at Carrboro Beverage Co. Pours a clear lighter amber. Persistent foam. Nose is thick toffee and even pumpkin. Taste is pumpkin, light lemon, paper. Eh.

Very traditional. Clear amber pour thick cream head. Malt aroma with malt sweetness in the flavors. Mild noble hop flavors to balance. ---Rated via iPhone DiarmaidBHK (5460) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Draft at taco Mac. Pours light brown with a thin white head. Slight malt on the nose. Fairly prominent caramel on the tongue. Finishes clean. Solid. emacgee (4698) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - SEP 7, 2012
What a nice and flavorful low abv lager! Nice and clean copper amber pour with two fingers of sticky off white head. Rich and dextrinous, lots of sweet malt notes and hints of caramel, some treacle and candy come through with a hint of spicy hops. Lots of flavor for something that is 4% abv....Medium body and a smooth full flavored finish. Mucho gusto!

Tap in Asheville. Glowing orange-amber. Thin steady off-white oily head. A little more of an amber malt touch than I find appropriate for the style, but still a nice Fest Bier. Peppery hops and flavorful yeast tones. Quite rich, teetering on full bodied. True, yet not true. An interesting US-German Oktoberfest hybrid. Rrauth (1196) - North Carolina, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Bomber. Clear light brown color with tan head. Some light basement aroma from yeast. Head vanishes quickly. Not bad but nothing special.

Tap. Poured an amber color with relatively little head. Good spiciness to the beer that packs a bit of a bite. Very intriguing. Onenote81 (1002) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - APR 30, 2012
Had this beer on tap at Mac’s - Steele Creek in Charlotte on 9/21/10. Reviewed from notes.
Really excited to see this beer in the lineup. I’m a sucker for O’fests and this was one I’ve been wanting to try. Came out a crystal clear rusty copper. With a finger-width beige head on top. Minor lacing left behind. The nose was sweet with toffee, caramel, and fresh flowers.
Moderate body. Well-carbonated for the style. Good flavors on this one. Sweet caramel, mild hops, light alcohol. Slight burn on the backend, but not too much. This is about the alcohol limit I like on this style. Prefer it in the 5-5.5% range. Still, I really liked this beer. I could have this any time in the fall. Recommend. Bomber from Sam’s Quik Stop. Pours a clear amber color with a large white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel and floral hops. The taste is toasted malts, caramel, floral hops and faint fruits. Medium bodied.
