Draft. Cloudy deep golden color, medium white head. Huge grapefruit aroma. Taste is bitter grapefruit. hman43 (1545) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - DEC 23, 2016
It pours yellow with a large off white head. There are aromas of caramel, perfume, floral elements, citrus, and orange. It has a bitter start with floral flavors, some perfume, a bit of caramel sweetness, and orange. It has a moderate feel with moderate carbonation with the floral elements carrying well into the finish. Overall, this is a bitter beer that features the floral and perfume elements with the caramel and other flavors in support roles. bytemesis (8257) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 26, 2016
Tap. Pours hazy golden, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is super light, melon and pine. Flavor is medium sweet and pretty bitter, citrus zest. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Cybercat (5747) - Georgia, USA - AUG 6, 2015
Pours clear amber with a thick and frothy pale buff head. Hoppy, fruity aroma has notes of apple and pear plus a malty undertone and a hint of hay. Flavor is boldly hoppy, resiny and a little woody, fairly bitter, supported by notes of orange, apple and malt. Mouthfeel has typical body and fizz, but leaves a nice hoppy and fruity finish. Redeem one today. SudsMcDuff (8389) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JUL 6, 2015

Bottle pour dark gold with moderate white head. Nose dank, woody, some pine. Taste quick pine freshness followed by moderate bitter up front, then more dank hop. Moderate bitter lasting through the finish. egg (378) - USA - JUN 25, 2015
Bottle on 6/25/15. Pours a slightly hazy light orange with a white head. Nose is creamy, little bit of citrus, peach, alcohol. Taste is resin and creamy, malty. Very creamy. Tastes bourbon barrel aged but I don’t think it is. Vanilla, some grapefruit rind, heat, alcohol. Nice and unexpected.

A big resiny DIPA that does the bourbon barrel aging thing the right way. The vanilla and oak from the barrel aging meld well with the super resiny hop flavors while the burn is kept to a minimum. Nice lightly sweet caramel malt backbone adds some balance. Pours a pretty light amber with a sticky head. Experiment_Ale (1098) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 4, 2014
At GABF 2013. Pours cloudy piss yellow, fluffy medium head. Aroma is just like heady topper, huge floral hops, big thick juicy orange and fruity notes. Taste is not quite as nice, hige floral hop bit with some earthy notes, a little harshness on the back end. I could still drink the shit out of this though. jdb288 (584) - Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA - APR 7, 2014
Growler from Peabody’s (Boone, NC). Pours hazy orange with minimal white head. Aroma is grapefruit, orange, resiny/hoppy, somewhat floral. Taste is strong, bitter hop character with some of the citrus notes. Sticky and long bitter aftertaste. Not bad, not amazing.
