12oz bottle. Pours a clear ruby caramel with a thin, off white head. Aroma has notes of caramel, toffee, slight traditional hops, and a hint of dark fruits. Taste is balanced with caramel, toffee, slight dark fruits, hints of roast and chocolate, and some hope bitterness at the end. Medium body and carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a dry finish. Overall fairly standard but done well. aracauna (3651) - Georgia, USA - JUL 18, 2006

on tap at ohb 7/12/11.
crystal clear amber color with an off white head.
the nose is all about the corn... sulfur, light caramel, toast and some vegetals.
the flavor is the same...heavy on the canned corn with an earthy damp aftertaste.

22 oz bomber in May 2012. Pours with a clear reddish-amber body; aggressive carbonation produces a very large, frothy, bone head. The head settles down, but doesn’t die altogether, in short time. Not much lace left behind.
Smell: Light malt with a distinct earthy/herbal tone. Not bad, but not very appealing either.
Taste: Toasty, modesty nutty maltiness with nice sweet component of lightly caramelized sugars. Light backdrop of soft fruitiness. Additional dash or two of brown sugar. Minimal hop presence yielding from slight leafy, herbal taste and a mild bitterness. A little bit of the bitterness follows you through to the clean, lightly effervescent finish.
Medium-light body but without wateriness; Medium-high carbonation. Fairly smooth with a slightly dry finish.
O: Highly drinkable -- both because it goes down easy and due to the low ABV. Adequate and unflawed flavor, a good malt/hop balance and a fine mouthfeel. Leighton (22019) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 6, 2014
Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, amber-red with a mild, creamy tan head. The aroma holds butterscotch and bread, perhaps some caramel. Light to medium sweet flavor, a bit of butterscotch, maple syrup, bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish with lightly toasted brown bread, maple accents, creme caramel. So so.

Bottle pours a clear amber/red with a thin off white head. Sweet malt scent. Caramel taste with some hops. bubbleflubber (2235) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - JAN 14, 2012
On draught at the brewery. Pours a nut amber with ring lace. The nose is of caramel and walnuts. Sweet caramel malt with a hint of cherry on the tongue. A well-balanced bitter back finishes the pull. Soft carbonation and a medium body accompany a smooth mouthfeel. Decent. Cybercat (6010) - Georgia, USA - JAN 24, 2012
Strong, malty aroma has a yeasty overtone but is otherwise about average. It pours a clear dark coppery brown with a fairly thick, slightly yellowish light tan head. Malty flavor has yeasty and grassy notes with just a hint of apple, nothing special but still enjoyable. Texture is quite fizzy but just a bit on the thin side. Overall, a decent if not outstanding brew. LuckyDog (615) - - OCT 24, 2014
Slight roast flavor. Very good lacing. Crisp. Drinkable. Part of a sampler. Patrickctenchi (6689) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Pours clear, dark amber-red with frothy beige head.
Caramel, chocolate scent.
Sweet, light, watery caramel malt flavor....
Nothing bad about this one, but it’s just too weak and watery for the style......no personality or depth.....
