(bottle - 22 oz) Hazy copper pour with a creamy looking tan head. Aroma is very sweet and boozy. Lots of brown sugar and caramel malts with some light fruity notes. Toffee and caramel at the start of the flavor with an almost overpowering sweetness, but is balanced out near the end with a bourbon flavor and a nice and sweet vanilla aftertaste.
650 ml. bb July 2013! Just figured out why this one was priced at $7... Pours a deep mahogany with a creamy ring and a few other bubbles. Nose is vanilla, whiskey, chocolate and oak. Tastes of dark earthy chocolate, caramel, vanilla, toasted pecan, light whiskey and toasted oak. Medium body has a low-medium carbonation and a surprisingly nice balance. Great dessert beer that seems to have only gotten better with age. Sammy (12346) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 19, 2015
Great brew. Good bourbon, sweet scotch, coca cola flavours. Dark brown. Good bourbon aroma. Masterful. djd07 (15067) - Houston, Texas, USA - SEP 30, 2014

It’s a little light in body, but makes up for it completely in flavor and aroma. Pours fairly dark with no head. Nose is booze and more booze. Flavor is raisins and figs steeped in barrels of bourbon. But in a good way. Seriously, it’s a little light in body and that’s my only note. Tmoney99 (14604) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 19, 2013
Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured a hazy dark reddish brown color with a moderate frothy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium to heavy toasted malt, bourbon wood and earthy scotch aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy bourbon sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. A smooth complex drinkable brew. alexsdad06 (10471) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - DEC 12, 2013

brown with caramely glow, no head. Coconut caramel and burnt sugar aroma. Flavor is a bit disappointing compared to the nose. Tastes like a brown ale with some barrel character.
