From the 12 fl oz bottle which was bottled 6/28/16 so it is rather old. That may temper my review. Decent looking amber pour with a short-lived white head. More malts than hops on the nose, which is to be expected after 5 months. Some caramel. Light-medium body. Some bitter hops still present themselves in the taste but otherwise it is mainly a malt bomb. BeerdedDave (2010) - Beckley, USA - SEP 12, 2016

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2017 On tap at the 2016 NCBMF; revised using a 12 oz 2016 bottle on 2 Jan. 2017.
Some appealing sweet malts in the aroma that are way more subtle in the hoppy, mild-moderately bitter flavor.
Clear amber body with a rather weak, bubbly head. Smooth, medium body. alliance100 (1190) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 6, 2015
22oz bottle - pours a deep copper with fluffy thick off white head . Strong floral aroma . Intense floral hop flavor with mild pine . Solid pale . woodychevy (874) - - APR 26, 2015
Bomber from Hopey. Nothing special but also quite out of date, so hard to rate fairly. Pretty average Pale- might be a good crossover beer. Nice citrus, pine notes from the Cascade. About right in the color (nice orange) and IBU’s - nicely balanced with malt and hops being about equal. Caramel and bready notes a bit much. Just boring overall. If I’m going to drink a pale, I’ll go with Pisgah or SN.

12/4/14. 22oz bottle thanks to Lee. Orange pour with a small khaki head, mild lacing. Floral hop aroma, caramel, grainy, hay. Not bad flavor, but too much caramel and not enough hop. Floral, earthy, caramel, doughy. Meh. ben4321 (6840) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 4, 2015

Aroma: Light hops, grainy malts, with some stale notes, and a bit of earth.
Appearance: It pours a clear orange color, with an off white head, and some medium lace.
Flavor: The flavor is pretty much just like the aroma, less stale, and it leans bitter.
Palate: Medium bodied, with an okay feel, a hint off though, with plus carbonation, light dry finish.
I thought this was drinkable. There’s too much carbonation though. It is not bad, but it is not good either.
It pours a golden orange with a full head that is tinged orange in the head. Lacing is present as the head retreats. It has a citrus aroma, floral elements and caramel. It has floral flavors, citrus, and will a dry bitter finish jbruner (5471) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 29, 2014
Pours a chill hazed golden orange from the bottle with thin white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of malty sweetness with slight pine hops. Taste is clean biscuit and caramel malts with nice bitter hop back end. Mild carbonation, good balance, solid beer. tarheel11 (1) - - AUG 16, 2014 does not count
Pours a golden hue. Very over carbonated. Appearance is extremely foamy. An average pale ale at best.
