Aluminum bottle. Lactic caramel malt and hay aroma. Dark amber with small head. Sweet milky caramel malt and lightly bitter herbal hay flavor. Medium body. Better than the average amber ale. slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 26, 2014
eh...not too impressed with this double pint. kinda low class amber here...cloudy amber color, non-offensive malty nutty flavor and aroma, but pretty generic and simple. rumproasts (6035) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 22, 2014

Can from Grocery Outlet. Malty, somewhat sweet nose wit a little bit of earthiness. Mineral flavors with a slight hint of hoppiness. Typical flavors out of Cold Spring. Patrickctenchi (6731) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - OCT 18, 2013

Aluminum can from SqB Liquor: Liquid poured a burnt orange brown hue while a forthy head develops quick but quickly retreats. Aroma is sweet with sugary caramel liquid malt extract like home made beer and nothing to be proud of. The beer is just as bland in regards to its flavor but there is a harsh presence of alcohol that makes this taste cheap, although, Iam extremely pleased with only paying $1.50 for a 32 oz. aluminum can, plus points. Not sure if this was supposed to be an abbey belgian amber hybrid or what the heck was going on. I would really like to know the ABV on this, minus points. chinchill (5314) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 24, 2013
12 oz bottle from Sicilianos (MI) served in a snifter.
Despite a rather vigorous pour, I didn’t get enough head to completely cover the amber body. Moments later, even this is gone with only a bubbly ring left.
Light and simple but pleasant bready aroma.
Light flavor reveals some herbal/floral hops in addtion to the malts..
O: An amber "lawnmower beer" that improved with warming. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Bottle; poured a dark auburn color with a creamy looking head. ARoma of sweet malt, dark fruit and veggies. Flavor had more of a nutty feel. Creamy palate. A bit dull but better than I expected. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - DEC 27, 2012
NIce. NOt so strong and quite sweet. Creamy and interesting foam. A little bit like Brittish tradition but not exactly one of them. luttonm (6758) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Big can in Seattle. Dark clear copper, big foam head. Sweet juice amber malts. Drying finish, banana bread, staleness. Nothing horrible here but very boring.
