Simply a clone of an American tradition. Crisp & clean with a slightly malty finish. This one is brewed with all malt, so it won’t fill you up. Have another!!

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges slowly and laces. Aroma has earthy grass with a bit of hay and earthy grains underlying. Flavor is similar with a combination of earthy grass, straw and hay.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with white head. Not bad, but there’s a harsh bitter aftertaste I don’t like.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a lasting creamy off white head. Aromas of bread, citrus and light straw. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, light earthiness and a hint of citrus with a smooth dry finish.

Stale... Below avg...lifeless... The Iowa un pale stale ale. Pass on it. It's been like this since the first time I tried this beer 7 ish plus years ago... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear bright copper like a fresh penny with a thin cap of white head. Nose is like golden brown toast and a flourish of lightly grassy hop bitterness. The taste is a bit brighter, grassy with perhaps a touch of lemon rind and light bitterness, followed by a cracker and toast maltiness with a little toffee like sweetness.

12 oz bottle. Good solid pale. A little bitter at the beginning, but has good hoppiness. Nice crisp drinking beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yellow-orange pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor have some orange and pine notes as well as some biscuit and toffee notes. Low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Cavie (4874) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 9, 2013
Bottle courtesy Fratto. Pours a fairly clear copper orange color with a light layer of white head. Aroma is drywall and fresh paint, rubber cement and toxic-free watercolors. Flavor is dry, slightly bitter, phenol and roughness on the finish. No. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Fratto. Very cloudy golden with thick white head. That could probably be attributed to the poor pour into my glass... Smells very buttery and sour. I can tell this will be interesting. Tastes buttery and bad.

jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - FEB 10, 2013
on tap-offwhite head with trailing lace-gold. A-grain, some earthy. T-grain/lt malt, citrus/earthy hops. 2.5 Second pint was better, maybe they can clean the lines or run some beer through prior to letting me get the first draw. 3.3 So to offset the stale beer lets call it a day at 3.0
