Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly and nearly completely. Aroma has a crisp straw note with hay and straw supporting. Flavor is similar with light grass, straw, hay and grain combining. kaser (6364) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 28, 2015
Sweet lager - bland but poundable. Not much else with this one. Poured from draft at old maine in Ames. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - FEB 28, 2015

Pours a very clear golden with a medium sized well retained head that leaves good lacing on the glass.

The aroma is clean & lightly fruity with a little graininess and a little cracker. There is nothing at all offensive about the aroma of this beer, there isn’t anything really all that thrilling about it either but it’s nice smelling to say the least.
The beer is fairly dry and mildly bitter with a light herbal hop zing. The flavor is very clean but also very light.
This beer drank about as good as any light lager I’ve ever had.
On tap @ Olde Main. Pale yellow appearance with a white head. Light malty lager nose. Slightly grainy, pretty boring pale lager flavor. BVery (10716) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - SEP 4, 2009
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 TAP: like Miller LIte, but slightly more bitter and maltier. Some banana on the nose. This has some elements apart from bad American macros, but not a lot. DrnkMcDermott (3122) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - JUL 15, 2009
Draft shaker at Olde Main. Light as any Bud in appearance, with a thin layer of foam. Light beer smell as expected. Taste does show some sufficient malts. I pick up some fruit impressions, but that may be from the leon beer I spilled on myself before this one. ctinalk (1) - USA - MAY 8, 2009 does not count
One of my favorites. I’d call it a medium beer, it’s not a light beer, but not a heavy dark either. Very pleasant, more of a grain than hops lager. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - OCT 7, 2008
Tap at the brewpub. The body was pale yellow with a white head. The aroma was grainy with some dried grass. The taste was light bread crust with some lemon pudding. Decent for a pale lager.
