COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A horse walks into a bar, the bartender says, “Why the long face?” This one will contain more hop aroma & taste, as well as a deeper malt profile, resulting in an all around tasty beverage!

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw and hay with an earthy grain backbone. Flavor is similar with straw, hay and grains throughout the beer.

Pours a hazy amber color with white head. Very little carbonation, may have gotten a bad bottle.

Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering am,ber head. Aromas of caramel, cocoa and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of cocoa, caramel and toasted malt with a smooth lingering toasted malt finish.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

jmohno (1662) - Iowa, USA - MAY 5, 2011
Poured a copper ,med caronated,Some head that dissappears immediatly.Smells mildly malty grainy. The taste has some tartness like lemon, fairly crisp easy to drink any somewhat watery. Is decent, but probably wouldnt seek it out again. But i wouldnt turn one down and accept the differences between seasons shelf/storage conditions....

Pours deep amber with nice light citrus tones. Hop notes get bigger on the palate and finish with a deep malt finish.

On tap @ Olde Main. Orangish amber appearance with a light tan head. Nutty caramel amber malty aroma. Sweet, slightly sugar caramel malty flavor. Solid though somewhat unexciting beer.
