Draft to mug at OP. Looks good; pitch black with beige lacing. Smells of chocolate and malt. Tastes like it smells with a little nastiness and an average mouthfeel. Good beer! 574deadzone (1419) - North Central, Indiana, USA - JUL 15, 2012
On tap. Pitch black pour with a thinner khaki head that leaves some thick lacing behind. Nose is very chocolaty with some coffee and a little vanilla and a slight metallic twinge. Taste is fairly sweet, but solidly bitter. Palate is toward medium with a livelier carbonation. Decent brew. The nose kind of leads you to believe it could be a more powerful or rich brew, but it’s definitely more on the session side. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - FEB 4, 2012

Darft at the brewpub. Pours black with medium tan head. No lacing. Aroma of mild chocolate. Flavor is roast and sweet chocolate, but really this is all about the chocolate. Very nice sweet stout that compliments OP’s Midnight stout. manny57 (162) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - FEB 10, 2011
Had on draft at the brewpub. A nice chocolate stout, which reminded me of cocoa puffs. Probably the highlight of my night. It was a little on the watery side, but still very drinkable.

Draught @ OP brewpub. Dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma is faint roasted malts, chocolate, cacao. Flavour of roasted malts, sweet chocolate, cacao. Watery and sweet. LilBeerDoctor (3931) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 27, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a small light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose, and roasted malt. Flavor of plenty of chocolate and lactose, vanilla, and some roasted malt. Quite tasty, especially so if you are a fan of lactose-enriched beers.

MiBG Winter Fest 2010: Basically black with a creamy tan head. The aroma has notes of chocolate (go figure), roast, charred black malts, herbal hops and a hint of anise. The taste is sweet malt, chocolate with a bit of roast and nuts. Very light hop bitterness and spice. The mouth feel is oily and thin surprisingly. Met my expections, okay.
