22 oz. brown bomber bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a dark golden color, with a sticky tan colored head. Aromas are "C" hops all the way. Flavors are pretty much "C" hops as well. Medium mouthfeel, OK body. Typical APA in my book. Nothing special here. 502Che (999) - @, CAMBODIA - JUN 15, 2011
Bottle. Hazy orange. Very Unappealing aroma of butter diacetyl. Flavor is meh. Not going to go into this one anymore than to suggest that, if u see another ipa, chose that one. LooseCannon (938) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - MAY 18, 2007
22 oz botle. Pours clear amber color with small white head even with a hard pour. Aroma lite hops and nothing else. Malty and lite grapefruit hoppy taste with bitter after taste. weeare138 (936) - Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 26, 2007
Picked up at a supermarket in Richmond, VA...
Appears a semi-transparent orange with a small white head. Streaky lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is of herbal tea, perfumey, earthy notes, floral, mild piney hops, along with some golden raisin, and caramel sweetness found to balance out the bitterness.
Taste is of the mentioned aromas with a midly sweet, gently hopped IPA that seems to be leaning more towards a British style IPA than the citrusy American bretheren.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, leaning towards the bitter but decently balanced.

Finally got around to trying this one... Very nice pour, golden color with a nice white head. Aroma is of sweet hops. Taste is highly hoppy with a nice citrus backbone accented by a smooth sweet frontness. Very well balanced.

Amber color. Smell of hops, grass, minor citrus, pine, malt and flowers. Taste of hops, citrus, grass, malt, orange peal and soap. Decent, average IPA. LiebeBier (808) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - MAR 27, 2008
Draft - A very nice beer with a large amoutn of hop aroma and flavor. More in \line with the style of IPA I prefer that has a nice light malt character held up by large amounts of hop. mcbackus (758) - Merritt Island, Florida, USA - JAN 27, 2009
bottle: pours a cloudy dark hay colour with a quick white head. very nice aroma of sweet malts and a mellow hop bitterness int eh nose. a decent homey and fruit aroma too. the flavour is pretty seet but nice, a decent malt not great but a little breadiness adn a good grassy earth hop in the finish. seems more like a English IPA and not to bad of one. aobecksy (700) - Middle of no where, Ohio, USA - JUN 27, 2007
RBSG 07 Grand Tasting beer #1. Looks like a thick orange cream soda, frothy head with syrupy lacing, very hoppy taste withou tmuch else. Average drink. merlin48 (656) - Jenkins, Kentucky, USA - SEP 5, 2010
22 ounce bottle found at Pappy’s Beer Store near Ewing, Virginia. Pours a hazy orange amber body with a medium sized beige head that retains well and scatters some attractive sticky lace. Aroma has soft fruity tones of apricot, pink grapefruit, and ripe pears, with some herbal and grassy hops and buttered caramel. Medium body and carbonation has a nice creaminess, Taste is well balanced and a bit sweet for style. Grassy and herbal hops have a solid bitterness but sweet buttery caramel and a faint hint of chocolate malt add a balancing sweetness. Fruity pink grapefruit and apricot notes add a nice touch. Still, hop-centric as per style yet very tasty and well balanced. Really enjoyed this bomber.
