Cask conditioned gravity dispense Banbury Beer Festival 2010. A light blonde coloured beer with a whitish ring of head. A hint of toffee with lemony hops in the nose. Slightly sweet in the mouth which doesn’t balance as well with the hops as you’d like. It’s OK. Fin (10820) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 24, 2010
Cask, handpump at The Hen & Chickens, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, 24-04-10 Pours light gold with a white creamy soft head. Some slight bitterness noted, lightly fruity, but again a soft easy drinking bitter that I tend to find crop up quite frequetly in the West Midlands and surrounding area. Cask gravity, Rugby 09. Bright headless gold. Cakemix aroma. Pint of stork with lemon juice hints. Clean and buttery in the Black Country style. Slick and empty; buttery and fresh. Just because I understand it doesn’t mean I like it. Crunchie (36) - Somerset, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2008
Good condition, subtle and gently sweet, a really restrained hop bitterness, gives great balance, butterscotch, vanilla and malt on the nose, some esters throughout, a really enjoyable session light mild. Delicate but satisfying. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 27, 2007
Considering the style, Scores ranging from 1 to 5, 5 being the most intense

Comments: I did not expect much and was delighted to discover an excellently conditioned, freshly grainy, cerealic and nicely bready ale. Helles-like in malt softness.

Pale golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is vanilla, fruit, some slight marsipan sweetness along with butter. Flavour is just mainly malts and hops. Wellbalanced.
Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Clear golden. Lager-like papery vegetable nose. Medium sweet with fairly soft mouthfeel. Cardboard dominates, grass and caramel surfaces later, but can’t really save it. harrisoni (19157) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2007
Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Gold, thin white. Thin, weedy. OK so it’s a mild and it is very mild. Decent condition, a little tingle on end. Pretty ok if you want a light beer, some citrus earthy finish. Nothing wrong with it at all. Very light. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2007
A Mes rate:
Gravicask at GBBF. Nice clean blonde with a white head. Dull hoppy aroma. Slightly fruity flavour with some more dull hops. Just about ok. doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - JUL 22, 2007
Tasting notes from 2002 Harbury beer festival. Golden-copper with a thin head. Notes of fruit and wheat aroma. Farily lite falvour, with honey, fruity malt, and mild hop flavours. Farily bitter finish balances it out.
