COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.

Oldershaw’s in-house ‘best’ is a classic example of it’s kind. Traditional, well rounded and brewed with a trio of English hops. Of course, being an Oldershaw beer, it has to have something to make it truly unique – so, American Willamette hops make a welcome appearance.

Cask conditioned at The Ostrich, Peterborough, Cambs. Amber with white head. Quite a basic malty bitter with an earthy, leaf litter hop note and slightly grainy malt. It’s ok.

Quite sweet, lots of caramel, some hops coming through too. Tangy, and not a bad iteration of the style all in all.

Cask. Deep rusty amber colour with a dark cream head. Nutty, wood nose. Develops on that in the mouth - a mixed bag of nuts! The taste of a spent firework. A nice deep bitter finish though. Very rich.
