Zingy hoppy aroma. Sweetness from two directions in the taste - both the light malts and the fruity hops. Very easy quaffer, like many a golden.

Cask (handpump) at the Rook & Gaskill, York, October 2006. Mid gold colour. A solid drinking beer with some spicy hops and a touch of biscuity malt. More like a pale bitter than an aromatic golden ale. Went down well enough.

Bottle.Clear amber appearance.A full body for its comparitevly moderate strength. Left a small amount of sediment in the glass. A nice bottle conditioned ale.

One in the crowd of those golden micro overly hoppy and fruity summer ales.

Salty and sulphuric like a Burton bitter. Nothing much to say. Its a bitter that does the job.
