Yes, my kind of beer.
American style hop-first ale. Loads of piney and citrusy aroma. Bitter as it is supposed to be, but not overwhelming - balanced well with the limited strength. Just a perfect beer for when visiting a bar wanting that American style ale, but avoiding the BWs and IIPAs in order retain functional capacity
faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - JUN 28, 2008
Draught. Bit hazy golden colour with a medium sized white head leaving a good lacing. Fresh hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel. Good fresh flavour with hops, a nice bitterness, some fruit and a bit sweet. Fruity and hoppy dry finish. Pinball (12156) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 31, 2008
blindtest. Very nice indeed. Reminds me of a good IPA, long lasting hoppy aftertaste, and solid taste sensations from start to finish. Some sweet tones to the taste, but not very dominat. Great experience. Ungstrup (37660) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 28, 2008
Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy and grassy. The flavor is sweet grassy and hoppy, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin - I think the final gravity is pretty low. A very good thirst quencher. yespr (45508) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 24, 2008
From tap at Nadsat, on tap as Ølfabrikken APA, 5%. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is fruity hops with mild grapefruity and citrusy touch. Flavour follows this closely with a nice caramel malt base providing just enough balance to the the hops. Solid carbonation in the mouthfeel. Quite grapefruit citric flavour into the finish providing a nice dryness. Light brett-infection, or an off-note I would describe as brett :) FrkAabenhuus (147) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 13, 2005
Draught. Golden coloured. Fresh hoppy nose, with some fruit. Spicy, hoppy flavor with some malty notes. Dry finish
