4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great dark/rusty-coloured beer served from bottle followed by a fantastic aroma with indicates various flavors of summer and friuts not even represented in the beer. Nevertheless the taste is equally awesome and fruity fresh upon a full body with a light orange head.
Easter tripel made at Het Anker by a young Danish beer company. Snow white, stable, creamy head, yellowish blonde colour, hazy. Aroma of orange peel, coriander, white candi sugar, grass, young cheese, sourish solvents, lots of DMS (cooked cabbage), flowers. Sweet fruity and citrussy taste with caramel touch, coriander, the DMS unfortunately coming back, finishing with flowery hops, warming alcohol and somewhat phenolic. Not well-balanced, I prefer Anker’s own brews way above this. Camons (13522) - Hasselager, DENMARK - APR 9, 2012

Bottle in sommerhuset. Pours a hazy orange with a tiny off-white head. Sweet and slightly dry with strong cammomile flower aromas. Also some hoppy notes. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Like a Belgian wit with a bit too much cammomile. Forsberg_dk (258) - DENMARK - APR 30, 2010

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color, with a big frothy white head. Aroma is of hops, sweet and caramel malts, yeast and citrus. Flavor is of spice, yeast, dough, caramel and sweet malts, citric hops, herbs and floral notes. It is quite bitter. Body is light to medium, with a fairly dry mouthfeel. Overall a solid Belgian Strong Ale, with some more hops than usual, but not anything exceptional.
