Bottle. Creamy white excellent mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Powerfull moderate hoppy heavy yeasty aroma with strong citrus/orange notes. Nice powerfull witt-flavor. Long finish. Very creamy palate. A little too fizzy. Heavy witt. Christian (13605) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2007
Hazy pale yellow with a big and lasting head. Strongly spiced aroma, coriander and chamomile are both very present. Some bubblegum, some alcohol too. Flavour is sweet and yeasty, with some alcohol presence. Dry, fruity finish.
I’m thinking this might make interesting company for a traditional Danish Christmas lunch. bierkoning (13243) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - JUL 27, 2009
Bottle. Orange and coreander in the aroma. Hopbitter pepppery flavor with citrus, anis and lots of coreander. Too spicy and alcoholic for a traditional witbier. Nevertheless quite drinkable. thewolf (12534) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2007
Bottle, bought @ SuperBrugsen, Bramdrupdam. Pours a great hazy yellow golden. An equally pretty and nice frothy white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma has lots of yeast and camomille - a generally wonderful floral touch. Great creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is powerfully spicy with lots of wheaty sweetness. Coriander and camomille is absolutely perfectly balanced with the vinious edge and general sweetness. Fabolously fresh Christmas brew - this should certainly be repeated in 2008. Apparently purchased at Kvickly in Helsingör, Denmark.
Shady yellow color, big white head. Acidic, spicy, yeasty, malty and alcohol scent. Strong alcohol and ornage taste, alcohol aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
It’s hazy golden with a huge, white, lasting and creamy head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of coriander, oranges, apple and basement. The flavour has sweetness, notes of fruit, coriander, oranges, apple and a touch of damp basement. I find it too sweet, the alcohol is a bit bothering and IMO it’s too heavy as a wit.
