COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is mild blueberry fruity and roasted malt. Towards breadish. Sweet and slight acidic blueberry flavoured at first with a nice rounding roasted malt base. Smooth fruity and breadish finish, acidic and towards dry bitter finish - certainly has a lasting bitter and slight citric overall impression to the mix of roasted malt and blueberry fruitiness. Weak on its own - but sublime together with food from Meyers Deli - rating is an average of these two experiences. Well done!

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a hazy orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Light whiff of sweet berries in the nose on a background of caramel. Quite full-bodied with caramel and roasted malt and the blueberries also making an appearance. Hardly any bitterness. 221009

Bottle, 75cl corked. It’s a clear, brown beer topped by a finger-thick beige head. Malty sweetness, toffee and some dried fruits on the nose. Not much evidence of the blueberries. In the flavor though, there’s a little touch of fresh blueberries, but it’s mostly brown ale. Slightly sweet, but rather dry on the palate, some sourish hints. Malty caramel and a touch of butterscotch. Overall, a quite nice beer, but I can’t really pin it. 091230
