330ml bottle picked up at Magasin Du Nord. Dense, beige head covering a clear, red-brown coloured body. Spotty lacing to the glassware. Dried fruity aroma, some alcohol vapour and notes of sweet malts. Caramel malts, dried fruits, and golden syrup creating a marmalade-like taste profile. Dry, mid-sweet ending. Subdued alcohol. Has got its moments of interests (hotel room, Copenhagen 23.03.2013). Cunningham (7952) - Halden, NORWAY - MAR 8, 2013

Appearance: Hazy amber color with a tan head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Slightly sweet fruity and spicy.
Palate: Medium to full body. A bit sweet, and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Sweet malty, fruity and some spicy notes. Warming, not disturbing alcohol.
Overall impression: Nice tasty evening sipper.
Personal stats: Bottle from workmate Gundersen.
Bottle: Unclear reddish brown beer with a nearly flat small tan head. Caramel, toffee, herbs, roast, yeast, lightly fruity in the nose. The taste is medium sweet with a medium bitter finish that seems to come from juniper, not from the hops. Notes of juniper, licorice, tree. Bold, oily. Low carbonation. A little boring, too sweet. Vintage 2009. Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, juniper and alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. Smooth. 141211 yngwie (17049) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 2, 2011
Bottle, 75cl corked. A slightly hazy one, amber in color and with a small, off-white head. Dried apricots, prunes, caramel and a faint note of alcohol and cellar on the nose. Dark malt extract too. The flavor is sweet and malty, caramel and spices chime in. Not to forget juniper. Full-bodied, lacking a bit on carbonation I think. A quite interesting beer, although a bit ordinary. Ordinary but unusual that is. Maybe it needs some food to show its potensial. 101210 gunnfryd (14872) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 27, 2011
