(50cl bottle) Pours a hazy brown body with virtually no head. Aroma of cedar, cherry, citrus, florals, toasted bread, vanilla, and light chocolate. Flavor of wood, caramel malt, cherry, and raisins with a dry, bitter finish.
Bottle from 2007 @ Theis. Pours red/brown w. floaties and no head. Aroma is honey, light oxidized, dusty, caramel, raisin, vinous, grassy. Taste is near heavy sweet and light+ bitter. Bottle at Theis. Clear amber with a small bubbly dissipating off white head. Caramel, oxidized sherry notes, alcohol, dry and light stinging, oak, honey, dusty, herbal hops. Complex aroma with mainly raisin, oak and cognac. Brown color, shiny, no head. Sweet, madeira, raisin, bitter, hoppy/grassy, oak. Sticky, flat, soft. Heavy flavours, great stuff.
