COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ØLFABRIKKEN PÅSKE ALE (Easter ale) is a amber coloured ale with a caramelly finish, but it is nonetheless refreshing thanks to the citrussy Cascade hops. Its unusually low ABV (for a Easter brew anyway) underscores its usability with traditional Danish Easter food. Ølfabrikken Påske Ale is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

Malziger Geruch, etwas karamellig, blumig. 9/9/9/9/8/9

Bottle. (RBNAG 07) A clear, copper beer with a beige head. Sweetish, roasted aroma with a good fruityness and hoppyness. Hoppy and quite fruity flavor too, and a sweetness to balance it. Medium to full body. Lovely beer, well suited for Easter I guess. (071103)

Thin tan head over a clear light amber colored body. Citric and herbal hops, and inviting light sweet malts in the aroma. Taste is a nice blend of delicate bittering hops and medium sweet malts. Notes of caramel and dark dried fruits. Well-bodied and filling. Nice. (Bottle @ RBNAG’07)

Medium shiny yellowish head. Amber body. Rubbery malty aroma with hoppy notes. Dry malty straw and hoppy catty taste. Made me think of simcoe, but apparently there is none in this. Cinnamon notes. Dry catty aftertaste. Quite good. (0.75l bottle at RBNAG’07.)

fiulijn (20993) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 6, 2007
Draught at Plan B
Cloudy amber color; creamy head. Aroma of fruity hops and sweet caramel. The body isn’t too thick, but there are still some sugars (with malt flavor and candy sweet caramel) to balance the aromatic, fruity hops. Fresh, refreshing and very pleasant.
