COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ØLFABRIKKEN PÅSKE ALE (Easter ale) is a amber coloured ale with a caramelly finish, but it is nonetheless refreshing thanks to the citrussy Cascade hops. Its unusually low ABV (for a Easter brew anyway) underscores its usability with traditional Danish Easter food. Ølfabrikken Påske Ale is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle conditioned like all of our beers.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2007 Pours a clear amber with a diminishing head. Mellow sour- and bitterness. Light sweetness. Aromas malts and hops with a hint of smoked? malt. Nice high hoppiness. 01/04-07 Ah don gæt it!?! The 2007 version has NO flowers on the label and that does actually match the flavor. But OK, maybe a horse blanket would not suit a beerlabel. Anyways, I wonder what happened to this brew... Here goes: Sourish, smoked flavors. 5o/5o finish between smoked and pale ale. Still, some hops but those are mosttly hidden by the strange malt-prophile of smoked and then some.

3.4
duff (5486) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 2, 2006
Bottle. Hoppy, lightly aromatic, flowery aroma. Some lychee fruit, and a hint of light acidic/lightly herbaceous edge, some kiwi fruit in there aswell, quite a fresh taste throughout, quite nice.

3.5
Plovmand (8702) - Grindsted, DENMARK - APR 27, 2006
Bottle. Amber colour white-beige head. Karamel and citrus in aroma. Flavor is like honey, flowers and some hops. No alcohol taste so could probably drink many of these in a row if I had the money ;-).
