Hazy reddish brown/amber with dense off white head. Sweet hop bomb with notes of caramel, candy dispenser, clover and grass. Sweet malty flavour with quite a good bitterness. Aroma on the tongue enhances the grass adding notes of fields, ensilage, molasses, apples, peaches and citrus fruit. Furseth (2161) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - APR 9, 2009

Tap at Beerfestival. Cant believe I havent rated this. Super crisp & tasty IPA. Lovely pleasant hoppyness - Pine & orange. Soper smooth palate with enough malts to back up the hops. Super drinkable! motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 14, 2007
on tap at plan b, copenhagen, in august 2006. slightly hazy amber, lychee and toffee aroma, some pineapple sweetness, not as bitter as expected but still very enjoyable Ofortuna (322) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 9, 2007
Thanks go out to Jason and sk8viking for this one. Initial burst of pepper and other spiciness from the saaz. Wonderful! Unfortunately, this aroma completely faded after a few moments only to be completely dominated by the "cat-piss" element of the amarillo. What saves this, in my mind, is the use of pilsner and maris otter to create a nice underlying complexity. This helps lend some caramel and fresh bread notes which is contrasted by a bit of a spicey crisp character. Some decent bitterness in the finish, but a bit grainy and out of balance with the grain. Not bad, but too much amarillo that all else is overpowered.

July 2005 bottle, Batch #143 thanks to sk8viking! Poured hazy medium golden with a towering cap of rocky white head.. left some thorough lacing. Aroma picked up plenty of floral and other dried hoppage with bready pils, toffee, and toasted caramel sweetness behind it. Flavor had a sweet toffee, light bread, and lightly-charred caramel base with rather hefty bitterness even after 2 years (grainy floral and spicy notes primarily).. left some sweet orange zest and floral notes through the rather long finish. Medium-bodied.. creamy across the middle with rather high bitterness remaining through the back-end. Solid stuff. gunnfryd (14872) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 23, 2007
Draught at københavnske øldage 07. Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is citrus, hop. Flavour is citrus, hop, hay. Nice beer. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 20, 2007
Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Unclear, copper body and an off-white head. Surprisingly weak nose for a hoppy beer like this, but it has hops and beef-stock to brag about. The flavor is nice, but a little boring, very hoppy, mostly piney hops, and then there’s some beef-stock. Full-bodied beer with an intensely stinging hoppy finish, and it lasts. Definately a drink for the hop-heads. (070511) yespr (45443) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 28, 2007
