UPDATED: NOV 24, 2016 Sampled at Vintage Estate this mead poured a yellow-tan color. The aroma was strong strawberry jam, sugar and was a bit artificial. The flavor was strong strawberry jam, yeast and bread. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Quite nice. unclemike (3122) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - NOV 2, 2015
Pour was golden ruby with a light sweet aroma of strawberries. Was a bit on the dry side with well blended flavors, but I didn’t get enough of the sustained mouthfeel that I wanted. Good mead but nothing too special Patrickctenchi (6586) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUL 27, 2014
Pours still, clear, just slightly yellow....
Aroma is strong, pure, fresh strawberry.
Honey, strawberry, alcohol flavour.
Very sweet, with a strong alcohol warmth.
Sweet and sticky.....more honey as it warms.

Bottle from TWM Sterling - pours clear gold, still. The strawberry is understated until the mead comes to cellar temp, then it starts to get a bit syrupy. I’m not getting a lot of the honey characteristics, which is disappointing. Drinkable, but I’m not in love with it. Chudwick (3205) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - SEP 25, 2013
75cl bottle - pours like watered down rosé and very clear. Nose reminds me of strawberry sirop by Teisseirre and gets a bunch of nostalgia points. There is one other smell and I can only assume it is from the honey. very sweet with slight booziness. Sticky like cough syrup minus the DXM. Curious to try the other Oliver flavored meads.

Pours a clear yellow. Aromas of fresh picked strawberry. Flavor is honey sweet with lots of candy like strawberry. I have the feeling there is some artificial flavoring involved but who cares it tastes great. On the thinner side of body and easy to drink. Like these tasty and inexpensive Oliver meads. 750 mL bottle. Clear yellow pour with no head and no legs. Aroma of strawberry extract, honey and sweet white wine. Honey and strawberry flavor with breadiness and dry white wine through to the finish. obguthr (6344) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - APR 29, 2010
Strong strawberry wine nose. Clear pink, still. Tastes like strawberry wine with little mead character. Tastes fine, but a bit of a novelty. maniac (3800) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 18, 2010
Bottle on 02/17/2010. Clear pink body with no head. Big strawberry aroma with light honey. Sweet strawberry flavor with light honey. A bit too artificial, somewhat like strawberry hard candy. Medium full body with no carbonation. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 6, 2010
Light red watermelon Jolly Rancher colored body with a little bit of thin legs left in the glass. There was a strong nose of strawberries with a little bit of dandelions. A vinous note also creeps in with each sniff. The taste was fairly alcoholic with the initial art of each drink. Then there is a hot finish that almost overwhelms the strawberry fruit character. This is more pleasant than the Black Cherry version as it doesn’t have the off medicinal flavors. Just fruit and alcohol. Actually decent as long as it is sipped.
