On tap at the brewpub on 9/9/09: Pours a transparent dark amber mahogany with a thin, spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasty dark caramel malts with some nutty character. Starts with some dark malty sweetness and some caramel toffee and light fruity tartness before a drier bittersweet finish. A decent brown ale. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 5, 2017
Can. Pours a clear light brown body with a small fizzy beige head that faded to a wispy covering. Some light clingy lace. The nose is toasty and slightly sweet chocolate malt with a light leafy hoppiness. The flavor is indeed on the sweeter side with some toasted and chocolate malts, and a caramel note. A light bitterness on the finish from the leafy hops. Medium bodied and a little clingy with fizzy carbonation. An ok beer, probably wouldn’t make it a regular drinker. sonnycheeba (6279) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 20, 2012
